FIREOPENINGS
Our standard fireplaces allow for normal fire openings of 16” or 18” wide x 22” high, certain styles can be altered to give up to 24” wide fire openings at the same price.
Larger fire openings may be possible on specific models at extra cost. Please refer to our Sales Department for details.
FIREOPENING INFILL PANELS
Where a flat panel is required, we can supply a separate 16” x 22” infill panel in matching stone
ALTERNATIVE FIRECHAMBERS
Specific designs can be supplied for installation with fire chambers. The standard is for the chamber to be the internal width between the legs and for the height to be from the hearth to slightly above the underside of the head section.
BRICK PATTERN (EMBOSSED) STONE PANEL OR STONE TILE FIRECHAMBERS
The brick embossed chamber is supplied in five sections.
SMOOTH STONE TILE FIRECHAMBER
Tiles can be cut and laid on site to required layout.
BACK HEARTHS (to match fireplace)
Supplied in 50mm thick stone slabs to standard sizes below, normally supplied in two sections

HEAT PROTECTION
Where the back of the head section would be exposed to heat, this must be protected with a heat resistant throat lintel or some other form of protection.
FIRECHAMBER PANEL SIZES
Dimensions are based on fireplace opening size.
Standard internal depth of firechamber is 300mm to fit 350mm deep builders opening.

DELIVERY And Despatch
Delivery to mainland England and Wales. For Scotland and other areas P O A.
Normally within 2 – 4 weeks from receipt of order. All orders will be acknowledged at which time an anticipated despatch date will be advised.
DAMAGED / RETURNED GOODS
Damaged items must be reported to us within 72 HOURS OF RECEIPT. Please do not sign carrier’s delivery ticket until you have inspected the consignment. If there are any discrepancies or damage, this must be clearly written on the delivery ticket before signing.
COMPONENTS THAT ARRIVE DAMAGED OR ARE DAMAGED DURING INSTALLATION CAN BE REPLACED. DO NOT INSTALL THE FIREPLACE WITH DAMAGED COMPONENTS THAT CANNOT BE REMOVED EASILY.
ONCE THE FIREPLACE IS INSTALLED, HALSTEAD FIREPLACES LTD WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY CLAIMS RELATING TO CHIPS OR OTHER DAMAGE TO THE MATERIAL.
No goods can be returned to our works without previous notification and our consent in writing. Responsibility cannot be accepted for any goods without such consent.
All components are wrapped for protection during transit. Wrapping should be removed as soon after delivery as possible to allow natural drying out. Wrapping can also be used during installation to protect surfaces.
MATERIALS
As only natural materials are used during manufacture, some variation may occur in colour and texture especially prior to drying out.
